Doha: Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) is organising a blood donation drive for members as well as well-wishers in coordination with Hamad Blood Donation Unit on March 8, 2019 from 8am to 12pm at Blood Donor Unit of Hamad Medical Corporation.
“Blood Donation is one of the noblest act a person can do to support the life of needy amongst us. As there are hundreds of people require blood in life threatening situation, who seeks merciful act from willing people to donate their blood, ICBF request all community members to join in for this noble cause,” a statement from the organisers said.
“ICBF is an Apex Body under the aegis of Embassy of India in Qatar and has undertaken the noble task of providing succor and solace to the needy and under privileged brethren in distress at Qatar by way of providing financial, medical and various other assistance and welfare activities of Indian Community at large,” the statement added.
