Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has clarified that the lubricating eyedrop called EzriCare Artificial Tears, manufactured by Global Pharma Healthcare Private Limited in India, is not registered or licensed for use in Qatar and is not imported to the country.

There have been reports that the eyedrop brand has caused blindness and death in some places, but not in Qatar.
