DOHA: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call this evening from the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz.
The German Chancellor congratulated the Amir on the occasion of hosting and organizing the ongoing FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, wishing success to the teams participating in the tournament.
During the call, the two sides discussed cooperation and friendship between the two countries and ways of enhancing and developing them in various fields, especially economy and energy, in addition to discussing the most prominent developments at the regional and international levels.
