Visitors and exhibitors participating in Silk Road Exhibition & One Belt, One Road Conference have praised the event saying that the exhibition has provided an important platform to showcase their products and services. They said such events play crucial role in create conducive condition to promote business and trade.
Embassy of Poland has set up its booth in the exhibition with an aim to promote Polish companies.
“We are using every opportunity to strengthen the Polish - Qatari business relationships and the Silk Road exhibition is an important way to achieve that,” Tomasz Sadzinski, Consul, First Counsellor, Embassy of the Republic of Poland told the Peninsula.
“I believe that participating in this initiative creates a chance to build and develop the brand of Poland in Qatar. We can highlight what my country offers and, what are the sectors where we can add value,” he said.
He said that exhibitions like this provide a good platform to form new business relationships.
“Events like this provide us with the opportunity to meet local businesses and explain to them what Poland stands for economically. We will be interested to participate in events like that in the future with the goal to facilitate partnerships between Polish and local companies,” he said.
“There is a lot of Polish brands in Qatar already but customers are not aware of that. Therefore we invite Qataris and residents of Qatar to visit Poland and to learn more about its economic success stories,” he added.
He also praised the transformations in Qatar’s infrastructure and said that Polish companies can play positive role in several projects.
“Qatar has made significant improvements to its infrastructure, be it airport, roads, ports, rail and stadiums. We have seen an ambitious plan to develop tourism infrastructure and also the sports infrastructure. We are interested to join in this effort and offer our expertise. Poland has successfully organized the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship. We are happy to offer lessons-learned and know-how in this area,” he added.
Ewelina Chrobot, Sales and Admin Manager, Aqvarius- a company that provide manpower solutions also praised this event. She said that such events help to meet other professionals and companies.
“It is my first time to participate in this kind of event, but now I have decided that I will definitely participate more in future in such kind of events. I like such kind of events because events like this provide me opportunities to get new contracts, to meet new people and new companies,” said Chrobot told The Peninsula.
