Doha: Ooredoo has participated in the Career Fair organised by the University of Doha for Science and Technology, on the UDST campus.

In a first for UDST, it organised the event in order to boost professional awareness and to showcase the job opportunities available to graduates in the government and private sectors in Qatar.

Ooredoo Qatar’s HR team participation in the Career Awareness Day involved a presentation on Ooredoo’s organisational vision, employment opportunities and career development programmes for recent graduates.  After advising prospective recruits on how to apply, there followed a Q&A session in which the Ooredoo team met with students and answered their questions.

Ooredoo Qatar’s HR team ran a dedicated booth interacting with students. The team received 145 digital applications from attendees. Ooredoo’s HR team delegation during the career fair was led by Mariam Ahmed Al Hayki, Assistant Director Change & Culture; Hamad Mohamed Al Nuaimi; Manager Talent Sourcing; and Mohammed Abdulaziz Al Zaman, Manager Performance Management.

Eman Mubarak Al Khater – Chief Human Resources Officer at Ooredoo – said: “Ooredoo strives to retain its status as a Best Place to Work in Qatar and has enhanced its recruitment and development efforts in recent years, aiming to demonstrate the incredible range of career opportunities available at one of the fastest-growing communications companies in the world.”
