Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced that an alternative route of 600 meters will be put in place on a section of Al Kassarat Street in the Industrial Area-Zone 91. The new route will have the same number of lanes.
The traffic change starts on Thursday 7 January for a period of 6 months. This change is required to carry out construction of the connection of new expressway from interchange 30 to interchange 31a vital part of the west corridor expressway.
Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the diversion. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
