Kuwait: Three people were killed and two others were injured in a fire that broke out in an oil refinery and a number of garages and auto parts stores in Shuwaikh industrial area in Kuwait, the country's fire department said on Monday.
Kuwait Fire Service Directorate said in a press release that a call was received by the firefighting communication center at around 7 am, indicating the fire, which led five fire brigades from different centers to rush to the area, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
The fire brigades started fighting the fire and managed to control it within the first hour of the fire, which broke out in an industrial plot estimated at an area of approximately 2000 square meters, it added.
