Beirut: President of the Republic of Lebanon HE Joseph Aoun met today, February 4, in Beirut with Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to HE the President of the Republic of Lebanon, and His Highness's wishes to His Excellency for good health and happiness, and to the government and people of Lebanon enduring progress and prosperity.
For his part, HE the President of the Republic of Lebanon entrusted HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness, and the State of Qatar continued development, growth and prosperity.
The meeting discussed cooperation ties between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, the State of Qatar's support for Lebanon in the field of energy, as well as a range of regional and global issues.
