Doha: The Birla Public School won the overall championship in the CBSE Qatar Cluster Badminton Tournament, held at Al-Khor International School on December 1, 2015.
They won gold in Under-14 Girls and Under-14 Boys and Under 19-Girls. In Under-19 boys and Under-16 boys Birla School won the runner-up position.
The students of Under-14 girls were Sunidhi Sudheer Shenoy, Joan Mary Thomas and Agnel Joseph Ayathil; while that of the Under-14 Boys were Rehan Arshad, Sai Srinath Vella, Harry Oommen Philip and Gaurav Amar Kolte. The students of Under-19 Girls were Thea Anne Anil and Rachana Ravi Shetty; while of Under-16 Boys were Abraham Sunil Oommen, Rohit Manoj, Athul Shankar, and Victor Viju; and the Under-19 Boys were Alan Thomas Philip, Aditya Menon, Janish Kuruthukulangara Jubin and Juan Byju.
