DOHA: Misdemeanor court has fined a number of commercial complexes to the tune of QR 10,000 to 50,000 as they faulted safety and security norms, Al raya has reported. The concerned authorities had issued letters to commercial complexes asking them to install CCTV cameras and other necessary security monitoring devices on their facilities within the given timeframe as per the Law No. 9 of 2011. It was in this connection the public prosecution has transferred the cases to the court.
