Toronto, Canada---The National Basketball Association will hold a series of exhibition games in four Canadian cities later this year with Vancouver hosting the first contest between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Toronto Raptors.
The Clippers will play all-star Kyle Lowry's Raptors October 4 at Rogers Arena, followed six days later by the Chicago Bulls battle against the Minnesota Timberwolves at MTS Centre arena in Winnipeg.
The Timberwolves, who feature Toronto native Andrew Wiggins, will then face the Raptors on October 14 in Ottawa. The series wraps up October 23 when the Raptors play the Washington Wizards in Montreal's Bell Centre arena.
"As the country's lone NBA team, we are honored to again be part of the NBA Canada Series," said Masai Ujiri, president and general manager of the Raptors.
"The crowds last season in Vancouver and Montreal were enthusiastic and passionate about the NBA. We look forward to the same excitement for the Raptors in those two cities and our nation's capital."
