DOHA: The Ministry of Municipality announced that the local agricultural produce yards will open this Thursday, November 3, 2022.
The Ministry, represented by the Department of Agricultural Affairs, encourages the public to support national products by purchasing fresh local vegetables directly from Qatari farms.
The five winter markets to offer farm fresh products at competitive prices are located in Al Mazrooah, Al Khor-Al Thakhira, Al Wakrah, Al Sheehaniya, and Al Shamal.
Al Mazrooah, Al Khor-Al Thakhira, and Al Wakrah yards will operate daily (all days of the week) from 7 am to 2 pm, while the Al Sheehaniya and Al Shamal yards will be open on weekends (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) from 7 am to 2 pm.
