American Show at MOQ

Mall of Qatar is hosting the American show which will be playing the most popular hits in certain genres such as pop, rock and country.

Cinema under the stars

Doha Film Institute (DFI) is celebrating the ‘Discover America Festival’ with a line-up of four animation films in the outdoors with the ‘Cinema Under the Stars’ programme, organised in partnership with the US Embassy in Qatar.

The screenings include four diney and pixar movies: Planes (2013) directed by Klay Hall, about Dusty Crophopper, a little plane with a fear of heights and a crazy dream of being a racer.

Discover short masterpieces of storytelling with Pixar Shorts: Volume 1 (2007) on Friday. Directed by John Lasseter, these short films have revolutionary animation, unforgettable music and lovable characters.

Toy Story (1995), the delightful super hit directed by John Lasseter will be screened on Saturday. The film is about Woody, a cowboy doll, who is Andy’s favourite toy, and Buzz Lightyear, the space hero, who takes Andy’s room by storm upon his arrival.

The final screening on Sunday, is of Chicken Little (2005) directed by Mark Dindal. Young Chicken Little throws his small town into panic by claiming the sky is falling.

Admission to the screening on a first come, first seated basis.

"Vietnam Landscapes" Exhibition

Katara Cultural Village Foundation and the embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the State of Qatar presents "Vietnam Landscapes" exhibition by the Artist Nguyen Minh Son.

Cultural Diversity festival

As part of the cultural diversity festival, Katara will host folkloric and other cultural shows of Cuba, Ghana and Iraq this weekend.

The Cultural diversity festival features an array of cultural performances from different nations around the world and aims to act as bridge between cultures and provide a multicultural harmonious environment.

In addition to international folkloric groups, ten local bands from different communities in Qatar will be performing during the festival.

The festival is free for everyone.

Taste Tour

Mall of Qatar will launch its first ever Taste Tour combining cooking demos at the Ooredoo stage, a mini chef zone at the Oasis and numerous challenges to win tasty treats.

Every weekend from 7pm onwards, Mall of Qatar invites the shoppers to enjoy the cooking demos on the Ooredoo stage and discover new dishes thanks to generous sampling from their favourite restaurants.

Shoppers can also enjoy an interactive gaming zone with a blindfold competition to win vouchers and little ones can get creative at the mini chef zone. The activities are opened everyday throughout the Taste Tour and located at the iconic Oasis.

Live Demos on stage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7, 8 and 9 pm.
