Ramallah: Dozens of Palestinians suffocated by tear gas in clashes with Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah.
According to local sources, the clashes broke out on Saturday night at the eastern entrance to Silwad with Israeli soldiers who intensively and randomly fired live and rubber-coated bullets.
The sources added that dozens of Israeli soldiers stormed the town from the eastern side and fired heavy barrage of tear gas at Palestinian houses, causing dozens of suffocation cases.
