Doha: Unauthorized veterinary medicines were confiscated by the Veterinary Medical Licensing Committee at the Ministry of Municipality yesterday, according to a report shared on social media yesterday, August 31, 2022.
The Ministry also further shared photos of the seized veterinary drugs.
The confiscation resulted from the Committee's inspection on a number of veterinary facilities in the country. The veterinary medicines found during the inspection were unauthorized to be imported. The Ministry further stated that legal measures were taken against the violating facility.
In the announcement, the Veterinary Medical Licensing Committee also called upon "owners of veterinary establishments to abide by the committee's decisions, and to follow the approved legal mechanism regarding the registration and import of the veterinary medicines."
