DOHA: The Doha Municipality has shutdown a restaurant in Musheireb area for not complying with health and hygiene rules, Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has said on its official website.
In a surprise raid inspectors from the municipality found the restaurant in question storing expired foods, including about 50kg of meat, in a store that belonged to the eatery.
Meanwhile, the municipality has destroyed 178.62 tonnes of food not fit for human consumption and closed three food outlets in Industrial area during August 23 to 29.
