Doha, Qatar: Dadu, Children’s Museum of Qatar has signed on Turkish Doğuş Group as one of the ‘Founding Family’ members of Qatar’s first publicly funded national entity in a signing ceremony that took place in the National Museum of Qatar.
The ceremony of the long-term sponsorship agreement was attended by key dignitaries including H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar Museums Chairperson; Dr. Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada, Dadu Advisory Committee President; H E Dr. Mustafa Goksu, Turkish Ambassador in Doha; Ahmad Al Namla, Qatar Museums CEO; David Alexander Taylor, Dadu Deputy Director of Project Operations; Ferit F Şahenk, Doğuş Group Chairman & CEO; and Hüsnü Akhan, Doğuş Group Vice Chairman.
Sheikha Al Mayassa and Şahenk officiated the agreement between Al Namla and Akhan.

Dadu is the first institution of its kind in Qatar to provide innovative child development settings and resources to support children, families, and educators to thrive and contribute to a sustainable future. The museum will be Qatar’s first publicly funded museum, with all donors, families, and corporations directly contributing to the future of Qatar and its people.
The museum is being designed to nurture, challenge, and inspire Qatar’s future leaders and caretakers, fuelling their creativity and encouraging empathy and understanding.

Our dedication to nurturing the growth of children and supporting arts will find new life with Dadu, which will serve as an invaluable resource for children from all around the world.
