Doha: Last month of Spring will bring hot and dry weather during day time with mild temperatures at night, tweeted Qatar Meteorology Department on its social media.
The department added that there are chances of scattered rainfalls during the beginning of the month becoming sunny and very dry later on.
The monthly mean maximum temperature for May in Doha is 31.9 degree Celsius. The lowest and highest recorded temperature ever for the month is 15.2 degree Celsius (1967) and 47.7 degree Celsius (1973) respectively.
Meanwhile, in its daily report for today the weather department predicted a hot day with slight dust, adding a warning of strong wind at some places by noon.
Wind inshore will be westerly to northwesterly 06 to 16 knot, reaching to 21 knot at some places by noon.
Offshore, it will be westerly to northwesterly 09 to 19 knot, gusting to 25 knot by noon.
Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, rises to 4 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 4 to 6 feet rises to 8 feet by noon.
