People can now find out traffic violations by foreign vehicles inside Qatar through the Ministry of Interior website.
To check violations by foreign vehicles, the user may choose the "MOI Services" on the website and then go to "Inquiries", from where he can access "Traffic Services", "Traffic Violations" and then "Foreign Vehicles."
It is part of the initiatives of the Ministry to expand its e-services and save time and efforts for the public.
Meanwhile, Over 1.19 million transactions were completed through Metrash2 and Ministry of interior (MoI) website in February this year, the Ministry has disclosed. The number of residence permits issued during the month was 35,937, while entry visas was 185,955 transactions, the ministry said on its official Twitter account.
It also issued 70,045 of leave notifications during the same month, and 50,313 transactions related to traffic services were completed through Metrash2 and (MoI) website (e-services).
Now 211 electronic services are available through Metrash2 and the website of the Ministry. The number of subscribers to Metrash2 has reached 328,000 so far.
Metrash 2 is an interactive service oriented Mobile app by MoI and available on App store, play store and Windows store.
Metrash 2 services include visa, residence, Traffic violations, Renew driving license, Issue replacement for damaged driving license, Travel exit permit, Transfer vehicle ownership, community police, CID in addition to different inquiry services.
