Doha, Qatar: Dugong Adventure has recently teamed up with King’s College Doha to promote sustainability and raise awareness about the importance of protecting marine life. This exciting collaboration aims to engage young students in conservation efforts, focusing on the protection of Qatar's unique marine species, such as the dugong.
As part of the initiative, Dugong Adventure donated storybooks about dugongs to the school for an accessible way to learn about these gentle creatures. The team also organized interactive talks and discussions, where students were taught about the significance of dugongs in Qatar's marine ecosystem. Through these activities, Dugong Adventure hopes to inspire the students to become informed and compassionate ambassadors for nature, who will carry the message of conservation to their communities.
