Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced two separate road closures that will affect traffic in different parts of the city over the coming weekend.
A temporary partial road closure will be implemented at the Sharg Intersection underpass for traffic coming from Al Corniche (Street 210).
This closure will be in effect from 3am to 10am starting Thursday, March 20, through Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Additionally, a full traffic closure will be implemented on Al Majd Road heading towards Salwa Road (Mesaieed Interchange) for drivers coming from Dukhan Road.
This closure will begin at 2am on Thursday, March 20, 2025, and continue until 6am on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Both closures are necessary to carry out routine road maintenance work.
Ashghal urges all road users to plan ahead and use alternative routes to reach their destinations during these periods.
The authority emphasizes the importance of following traffic signs in the affected areas to ensure safety while the maintenance work is underway.
