Doha: Desert Lions scored a 17-run win over Mavericks in their Group B match of the QCA T10 Ramadan Cup 2025 played at the Westend International Stadium.
Batting first, Desert Lions scored 106 for 7 in their allotted 10 overs with Haris Javed Butt (25 off 14) and Adnan (24 off 20) making crucial contributions.
Chasing the target, Mavericks managed 89 for 7, falling short despite their efforts. Haris Javed Butt was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance, scoring 25 runs and taking 2 wickets.
Big win for Doha Rangers
Meanwhile, in the Qatar Women’s Premier League 2025, Doha Rangers registered a thumping nine-wicket win against Lusail Lioness at the University of Doha for Science and Technology ground.
Lusail Lioness scored 103 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs but the Doha Rangers chased down the target with ease in 8.4 overs losing only one wicket in the process.
Rizpha Bano emerged as the Player of the Match. She scored 48 runs off 33 balls and also claimed 2 wickets.
