Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced the recall of the 2014 – 2015 models of MAN Trucks tgs4x2/21-400 due to the possibility of defect in the performance of the brakes.
The Ministry said in a statement that the move which was done in collaboration with Qatar International Automobiles Company, the agent of Man Trucks, comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships' commitment to follow up vehicles' defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights.
The Ministry also stressed that it will coordinate with the dealership to follow up maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
The Ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its various communication channels.
