Doha, Qatar: The 2025 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar returns to Lusail International Circuit (LIC) on April 11-13, marking the fourth round of the season. Having hosted its inaugural race in 2004 while being the first venue to host night racing in MotoGP since 2008, LIC remains the only circuit offering evening competition on the 5.38km track with 16 corners under LIC’s renowned  lights.

Márquez Brothers dominate early season as former champion Martín recovers from injury

Marc Márquez (93) currently leads the championship with 37 points following his commanding performance at the Thailand Grand Prix. His brother, Álex Márquez (73) of BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP, holds second position with 29 points, while Francesco Bagnaia (63) follows in third with 23 points. The 2024 champion, Jorge Martín, notably absent from the early standings due to a training accident prior to the Thai GP is undergoing surgery for multiple fractures.
