Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced the recall of 2014-2015 Honda 15MY CBR600RR / 14MY CTX700DE 14MY NC750SE & XE motorcycles due to a defect in the power key circuit.
The ministry said the recall comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships' commitment to follow up vehicles' defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights.
The ministry also stressed that it will coordinate with the dealership to follow up maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
The ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints, suggestions and inquiries through the following communication channels: Free line, e-mail, the ministry site on social networking sites (Twitter and Instagram) and the application of the Ministry of Economy and Trade on smartphones.
